What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm. We recommend arriving at 5:00 pm to ensure you can get settled in your seat.
Can I bring a plus one?
As much as we would love to accommodate everyone, we have finalized our guest list and cannot accommodate additional plus ones. If a plus one has been extended to you, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP. We appreciate your understanding!
Can I bring my kids?
We love your little ones! However we have decided to make our wedding reception an adults-only evening. We hope you understand and use this as an opportunity to enjoy a night out with friends and family.
What’s for dinner?
Cocktail hour will feature grazing tables and passed hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will immediately follow with a selection of chicken or short rib. Please indicate dietary restrictions it in your RSVP.
What is the dress code?
We ask that guests wear "garden party formal" attire. This means formal or semi-formal attire that embraces color, pattern, and floral details—perfect for a garden celebration. Please no jeans or casual attire.
Are there Airbnbs in the area?
If you choose to not stay at the Hampton Inn, you can search for Airbnbs in the towns of Walkill, Walden, or New Paltz. We collected a list of local Airbnbs here. Please note: we will not be providing transportation to or from Airbnbs.
Will the wedding be outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside on a stone patio. Cocktail hour will be on the lawn, so we recommend wearing block heels.
How can I get around?
We will be providing shuttles to and from the Hampton Inn at the beginning and end of the night. Ubers are not reliable forms of transportation in the area. If you need a cab, we recommend reaching out to New Paltz taxi.
